WWE Rumour: MMA Fighter Cris Cyborg Vs Becky Lynch at Summerslam

Bengaluru, July 28: At first, what looked like a playful banter on Twitter has now become a real wrestling match and that too at the biggest party of the summer.

With the UFC and WWE stars keeping themselves in touch, we are getting scenarios for some mouth-watering matches and this one is no different, either.

This particular altercation kicked off by the UFC Featherweight contender, Cris Cyborg who took her Twitter handle to post a custom made poster of Summerslam. The picture showed her against current WWE female superstar, Becky Lynch with Summerslam in the background.

The picture was captioned with Cyborg wanting a match against the Irish Lass-kicker at this year's Summerslam PPV emanating from Brooklyn, New York on August 20th.

Being the fighter that she is, the fan favorite Becky did not back down from the challenge made by one of the best combat sportspersons, ever.

At that point, it looked like that it might be a shot that the pro-wrestling stars often take at each other using the social media. Plus, there are fewer possibilities of this maXXtch to happen since Becky is under contract with the WWE whereas Cyborg belongs to the UFC promotion.

This is the reason why Cyborg went on to ask whether Triple H would allow Becky to compete against her and vice-versa. Initially, we thought that the conversation had ended right there. But, it continued on Twitter with fans involved into it making it a trending topic.

In addition, cagesideseats.com reported that this conversation might not be done unintentionally which means there are certain chances of seeing a Becky Lynch Vs Cyborg match at this year's Summerslam.

Plus, Cyborg herself posted a tweet promoting the upcoming Summerslam event as you can see above. With that being said, the speculators are on the run to find out whether a UFC fighter will appear in WWE ring or not.

Considering that this year marks the 30th anniversary of Summerslam, the chances of getting some bonus matches are extremely high.

So, the possibility of these two world class athletes locking horns can't be brushed off. We will have to wait whether WWE address the rumour in future to make some announcement regarding this.
