WWE: Reason behind Roman Reigns’ big win against Braun Strowman
Bengaluru, Mar 11: At Fastlane, we have got a clash of the Goliaths where Roman Reigns squared off against Braun Strowman.
This was the very first time that Strowman was pinned clean by a superstar in his WWE career. The mountain among men had all the momentums by his side before going into the match and was unlikely to digest a loss.

But, he missed a top rope splash which allowed Reigns to capitalize. He connected with two superman punches following it with a massive spear to put away the monstrous heel once and for all.
According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter's reports, the win had to do a lot with Reigns going next into a feud with the Undertaker.
This year, WWE has pitted The Big Dog against The Deadman for the Wrestlemania season. So, a major push was reserved for him before taker came into the picture.
Both Strowman and Reigns were booked strongly before the Fastlane PPV, due to the reason so that Reigns can earn the accolade of pinning the monster at a certain point.
Many should have considered that Strowman should have become the winner of this feud since Reigns is already considered as a veteran.
But, the source had other thoughts with it as stated: “Yes, you could have Strowman beat Reigns, absolutely, with the idea that if Reigns gets the title, you've got Strowman waiting as the top contender.
"But it's just as valid from Vince McMahon's standpoint to have the guy facing Undertaker win going into the match."
Plus, Strowman went over in every angle. And, the match was booked to make Strowman look strong, and really Strowman put on a great performance, as did Reigns, and they really stole the show."
In addition, Reigns will also be likely to go into the championship picture once Wrestlemania season is over.
Brock Lesnar is supposedly walking out as the Universal champion from the event after which The Big Dog is the most likely opponent to challenge him for the title in the near future.
