WWE: Reason why Brock Lesnar was not present on Raw
Bengaluru, March 25: This week, Monday Night Raw was held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York in front of a raucous crowd.
This is also the home of the Summerslam event and the fans were at their loudest considering it was the second last episode before Wrestlemania.

The crowd expected to see all the star powers that will be used to pull off the biggest event of the year. Now, going into total contrary of this, WWE has not let Brock Lesnar and Goldberg appear on the night.
Goldberg was not advertised for the night but Brock Lesnar's absence was a shocker to the television audience since he was advertised to appear on the show.
He and his manager Paul Heyman were present at the backstage and never showed up until the cameras stopped rolling.
Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter noticed it and discussed the probable reasons as of why would WWE not use one of the biggest star powers in a televised episode. Lesnar was present on almost all of the Raw episodes during the entire Wrestlemania season.
The veteran journalist thinks that the fans might have been the reason behind this. We are just 9 days away from the show and WWE does not want the fans to cheer a monster heel like Lesnar on live television. These were Meltzer's comments:
“Yeah, I don't understand [why Lesnar wasn't on TV] because it's not like the show was so loaded that you couldn't [have him on]. Maybe because it was New York and they didn't want him to get cheered so much.
"I was trying to come up with a reason why you wouldn't have Paul Heyman do a promo in Brooklyn because it would've gotten an incredible reaction. Maybe that's why, because it would've gotten an incredible reaction."
Lesnar did give a treat to the fans in attendant by destroying Big Show in the dark segment. Both he and Goldberg will be present on Raw to have a final confrontation before Wrestlemania, next week.
