WWE: Real reason why Baron Corbin is suspended from Smackdown Live
New Delhi, April 28: This past episode of Smackdown Live witnessed a brawl between Sami Zayn and Baron Corbin inside the ring. Corbin was delivering an assault to AJ Styles alongside Kevin Owens out of frustration since he lost the matchup.
Sami ran down to make the save for Styles. He gained the upper hand by putting Corbin down with the Helluva Kick. However, this was not it for the two of them on live television.

Once the main show was over, Sami Zayn was the last guest on the Talking Smack show. As he was talking about his future on Smackdown Live, Corbin smashed his head into the glass ceiling making him literally senseless.
A vicious beat down followed with numerous WWE officials unable to stop The Lone Wolf. In the meantime, Corbin even shoved a referee off to the ground.
Now, as per WWE rules, one superstar can't touch an official. So, this led Corbin facing a suspension and an amount as fine. The Smackdown Live commissioner, Shane McMahon took his twitter handle to let this know.
...on #TalkingSmack were irresponsible and unprofessional. He has been fined and suspended for one week effectively immediately. #SDLive

Furthermore, WWE gave some updates about the same stating that Corbin would be absent for one week from the Tuesday Night's show due to this.
Now, in case you have been overwhelmed with this news, you should know that this suspension is completely for kayfabe purpose. It will garner some more attention to the winner of last year's Andre the Giant battle Royal at Wrestlemania.
The creative is about to give a major push to him leading to the main event spotlight. It is said that he would be presented with a totally new package and a new theme song. That reinvention might take place once he returns from the suspension.
He will go right after Sami Zayn to continue the feud and get a match at the Backlash PPV. A clear win is reserved for him since he will be eyeing for the WWE championship in the near future. If plans are kept intact then he will feature in the Summerslam main event.
