WWE: Potential planning with The Miz for Summerslam event

Bengaluru, July 30: The Miz has successfully defended his Intercontinental Championship at the Great Balls of Fire PPV. The Miztourage is always standing by his side to make him look stronger. He will next defend his championship at the Summerslam PPV in August.

Till date, WWE has not hinted his next opponent. For the last few weeks, he was feuding with the former Shield brethren, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose indicating that a triple threat match might be waiting for him at the dual brand PPV.

It was also speculated that a two-on-three handicap match might be arranged between Ambrose-Rollins and the three members of The Miztourage. But, that match already took place at the bygone edition of Raw nixing out the possibility.

According to The 434 Facebook page update, the creative team is trying to pit Jason Jordan against The Miz at the biggest party of the summer. This is a first-time ever feud and is likely to be appreciated by the fans, as a whole.



This is the reason why Jason Jordan is scheduled to appear in the next edition of Miz TV on Raw. The announcement was made during the last episode of the flagship show in order to hint the upcoming rivalry.

It is to be noted that the next episode of WWE Raw will be hosted by the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh which is the hometown for Kurt Angle. Recently, Jordan has found out that the former Olympic Gold Medalist is his biological father which will allow the Miz to throw some negative comments on Jordan.

Apparently, this segment will mark the beginning of the feud between these two superstars. This will culminate in an Intercontinental championship match at Summerslam. This is going to be a huge solo PPV match for the younger superstar.

The storyline of Jordan getting revealed as the son of Kurt Angle was meant to give him a push on the roster. Pitting him against the veteran Miz in a championship match will definitely be the right direction in his career.
