WWE: Paige reveals she was not on drugs before getting suspended
Bengaluru, April 22: There were a lot of speculations last year over the suspensions that Paige had suffered. WWE has only given updates about the female superstar getting suspended. They never stated the actual reason behind it which was the beginning of the nightmare for her.
The issue was raised in the latest episode of Total Divas on the E Network where we get to see WWE superstars' life, up close and personal. Initial rumours suggested that Paige took PEDs to go out of the WWE rulebook and get suspended.

But, that was completely denied by the "anti-Diva" of the WWE. She denied the speculations saying that she was on drugs to avoid surgery for the neck concussions.
Rather, she elaborated that WWE conducted a medical check-up at that time. She was cleared after the test but did not go through the process within the given time that handed her the first suspension. Here are the excerpts from her comments:
"WWE posted a statement about me failing the wellness policy. We get drug tested all the time…first of all, I don't do drugs. Second, of all, I did the test and I passed it. They're only suspending me because I didn't take it in the allotted time that they gave me."
Interestingly, Paige's photos and updates are not given on the official website of the company after each of the Total Divas episodes, unlike the other female superstars. No video segments are also uploaded on the Youtube channel. This indicates the rift is still ongoing between the two parties.
This tradition has been continuing for the entire sixth season of the reality tv series. Alberto Del Rio was also not shown since he left the company, last year. He too was suspended alongside Paige, at that time.
The latest updates from 434.com suggested that WWE might have fired Paige much earlier if The Rock was not filming a movie based on her career and family. Once the film gets a theatrical release, the company could all the ties with her. They do not intend to bring her on television, either.
