WWE Monday Night Raw results with video highlights: April 24, 2017

New Delhi, April 25: This was the final edition of WWE Raw before we get the first Raw exclusive PPV after Wrestlemania, Payback, on this Sunday.

A return from Roman Reigns was expected to take care of the unstoppable Braun Strowman. The episode took place at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri.

Chris Jericho opened up the night with his Highlight Reel show. The Miz and Maryse interrupted to convert the show into The Miz TV. But, that did not long last as Dean Ambrose came out to host his own show, “The Ambrose Asylum."

Quite interestingly, he gave Jericho a lightening jacket which he destroyed, last year. The segment ended with Ambrose giving the Miz a Dirty Deeds and Jericho putting his wife, Maryse into the List of Jericho.





Braun Strowman got a dumpster match against Kalisto as announced earlier. Quite interestingly, the masked superstar won the match by pushing the big man into the dumpster. This made Strowman even furious leading to a vicious assault to Kalisto. Later, Kalisto was loaded into an ambulance.

Enzo and Big Cass were making their entrance on the show. Luke Gallows and Anderson attacked them from behind on the ramp. Cass was sent to the crowd via a clothesline whereas Enzo received a Magic Killer on the ramp. He needed medical attention, the aftermath.

This led to a six-man tag team match with Big Cass, Seth Rollins and Finn Balor taking on the team of Gallows-Anderson and Samoa Joe. Rollins launched his new finishing maneuver on Raw to pin Anderson and win the contest.

Alexa Bliss confronted Bayley on the show to cut a heel promo on her title match at Payback. Sasha Banks interrupted since she was set for a singles match against Bliss. The Boss win the contest via count-out after Bliss chose to walk away from the ring.






Matt Hardy defeated Sheamus in a singles contest. Curt Hawkins received an impromptu matchup against Apollo Crews which ended up on a losing note.

Dana Brooke defeated Alicia Fox after which Emma came down to the ring to give her a hug. Jack Gallagher and Austin Aries won a tag team contest against TJ Perkins and Neville. Aries connected with the Discuss Five-arm to pick up the victory.





As a result, what happened earlier on the show, The Miz received a handicap match against Chris Jericho and Dean Ambrose. However, Miz arranged a mystery partner for him which turned out to be none other than Bray Wyatt.






Wyatt connected with the Sister Abigail on both Jericho and Ambrose to take them out. The Miz was not spared, as well. He went down on his knees posing in his signature style to end WWE Raw.
