WWE: Major changes coming to the women’s division in the Superstar Shakeup

Bengaluru, April 10: As announced earlier, a 'superstar shakeup' is about to happen to stare from this week's Raw. It will continue to the very next day with Smackdown Live, as well.

Vince McMahon wanted to shake things up to a great proportion for the post-Wrestlemania season and came up with this idea which is similar to that of the WWE Draft.

It is evident that major names from the male roster will be seen altering their spots and so do the female talents.

It is being indicated that two of the biggest names from both Raw and Smackdown will be shifted from their home.

As reported on the rumour roundups in numerous sources, the four-time Raw women's champion, Charlotte will have to shift to Smackdown live.

Currently, she is not involved in the championship picture. Keeping her on Raw might result in same matches against old opponents.

So, the shift will be a welcoming for her considering that newer rivalries will be waiting for her in the blue brand.

So, there will be bigger void on Raw which in turn will be filled by the former Smackdown women's champion, Alexa Bliss.

She has failed to recapture the title in her singles match against Naomi at this past week's Smackdown.

Hence, she should be out of the title picture for sometimes if kept on the same brand. But, bringing her on Raw will provide goo options for the creative going forward.

The wicked witch of the WWE said that Smackdown female roster is far better than Raw in an interview with WWE.com. Here are her comments:

“Our women are all featured all the time. We have such a strong division — we don't have a weak link.

"And we've been given the opportunity to show multiple times that our women can showcase and showcase well.

"The overall philosophy of the show is definitely going to allow us to bring this revolution to the next level."

Apart from Charlotte and Alexa, we are expecting at least one name between Emma or Sasha banks will be shifted to Smackdown, as well.

They were caught on last week's fallout show expressing concerns regarding same. Carmella might end up getting on Raw considering his real-life beau, Big Cass belongs to the same brand.
