WWE: Big brand switches about to happen at WWE Superstar Shakeup
New Delhi, April 9: Last year, WWE brought back the WWE Draft to revitalize the contents on WWE television. It was one of the much anticipated nights of the year and demanded by the fans for a long time.
It was proven to be a mega hit by giving separate identities to both Raw and Smackdown. Furthermore, it proved to be much useful to various names who was taken forward to the main event level.

Talents like AJ Styles, Kevin Owens, The Miz, Bray Wyatt were the benefitted superstars from the Draft.
Now that Wrestlemania season is over, WWE fans are looking forward to the exciting night of the year, again. As announced by Vince McMahon, we will get two 'Superstar Shake-up' nights in this upcoming week.
According to reports from cagesideseats.com and 434.com, we have learned that some of the marquee names will switch brand.
The entire roster will be up for grabs for both the brands. But, unlike to last year, only a few selective names will be chosen by the commissioners to switch the brands.
Roman Reigns and AJ Styles are two of the biggest names that are expected to shift from their respective brands. AJ is considered to be a veteran talent by Vince McMahon who could be an asset to the flagship brand of the WWE. He has done a terrific job to carry on the Smackdown brand, so far and likely to do the same on Raw, as well.
On the other hand, Reigns will go to Smackdown Live, since there are fewer opponents stored for him on Raw. He has been the marquee player on the brand for quite a long time and had feuds against almost all of the other big names.
Hence, this will be the move to avoid repetition in rivalries. Also, per the source, The Big Dog will be the overall number one pick on that night. There are also some speculations over gallows and Anderson being sent to Smackdown if AJ does not shift his brand. This will be a reuniting process for the former Club members.
As far the other names, The New Day, Dolph Ziggler, Sami Zayn, Cesaro and the Miz are the front-runners to bring on their A-game on a different brand.
