WWE: Alberto Del Rio skips Wrestlecon festival to be with Paige

Bengaluru, March 26: We have heard from all the other members of Paige's family since the nasty media leak incident took place. Her parents and brothers were seen supporting the Diva providing mental strength to her. They also intended to seek legal actions to identify the actual person behind these leaks.

However, we did not hear from Paige's beau, Alberto Del Rio in recent times until he decided to stay by her side during this tough time. Acting as a true life partner, he is taking good care of the anti-Diva of the WWE and step aside from an upcoming appearance.

Del Rio who is currently performing under the name of Alberto El Patron was under a contract with the company Prime Time appearance. According to it, he was scheduled to take part in the upcoming Wrestlecon event that will be hosted from March 31st to April 1st.



As you can see the event is scheduled to take place at the same time during the Wrestlemania weekend. The former WWE champion was supposed to be a part of this fan-fest and a bigger attraction. However, he released an official statement which was published by the company to indicate his absence. Here's the statement:

"Due to the invasion of our privacy, I need to be home with the person that needs me more at the moment and our family. Thanks for your support and I'll be seeing you the next time."



The promotion has also sent out their best wishes to Del Rio and did not want to go into any clash with the Mexican Aristocrat. Take a look at the tweet posted by them.

At this time, Del Rio has just started performing for the Impact Wrestling promotion. He was present during the tapings that took place around March. The next schedule of tapings is set to happen in the month of April and he will return to the ring as part of that.

Paige, on the other hand, has been going through a lot of turmoil, as of late. Following this media leak controversy, her career is in serious jeopardy. We are still to receive any update how WWE intends to utilize her, once she returns.
