UFC stars call out WWE superstars Brock Lesnar and Becky Lynch after UFC 214 PPV

Bengaluru, July 31: In the light heavyweight championship match at UFC 214, Jon Jones was able to emerge victorious and capture the title from Daniel Cormier.

Following his win, he was interviewed by Joe Rogan where he went right after to his predecessor and the now WWE Superstar, Brock Lesnar. He did not dare to call out the beast incarnate that once dominated the Octagon.

After he was done inside the Octagon, Jones appeared in a Q&A session on Facebook where he once again spoke out as of why he would like to fight Brock Lesnar while defending his title, at some point. This is what his comments were:

“I would love to fight Brock Lesnar. He is a massive dude. I mean, it would be a massive draw. Really big for the sport. It would be a great challenge. That's a big ole' boy. I doubt Brock Lesnar would take that fight, though."

The reigning WWE Universal Champion is not someone to back down from a challenge and went on to say “be careful what you wish for, young man" via a statement published by AP News. He went on further to say that he is ready to take on the UFC lightweight champion, anytime, anyplace by quoting,

“Would I fight Jon Jones? Anytime, anywhere. Right now he should be worried about D.C. on Saturday Night."

Apart from Jon Jones, it was MMA fighter, Cris Cyborg who continued her recent rift with Becky Lynch after her win at UFC 214. Once Cyborg was done with Tonya Evinger, she said that she definitely wants a match with the Irish Lass-Kicker of the WWE at the biggest party of the summer.

She took her Twitter handle to address Triple H so that he allows Becky to feature in a single competition at the Summerslam event. The latter one does not back down from any challenge, usually and so went on to respond in her usual 'straight-fire' way.

We have to wait whether this cross-promo match gets official for the Summerslam PPV. For now, Becky is not booked in any contest at the event which will emanate on August 20th in Brooklyn, New York.
