SummerSlam 2024: Early spoilers on scheduled top matches at WWE PLE

It was back in March that Logan Paul appeared on his podcast to confirm that SummerSlam 2024 will take place at the Cleveland Browns Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio on Saturday, August 3, and he also expected to be part of a big match at the PLE.

Going by the recent reports, the reigning United States Champion will indeed be an integral part of the WWE premium live event set from his hometown from an outdoor stadium as he will defend his title in an anticipated match.

According to reports from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Logan Paul vs. LA Knight for the United States Title is "earmarked" for SummerSlam 2024. WWE is expected to officially announce this match following the conclusion of Money in the Bank PLE in early July.

This contest was originally expected to be announced for Money in the Bank as the feud has been heating up, especially after Knight "invaded" Paul's home in Puerto Rico, two weeks ago and even took a dip in his swimming pool.

In response, Logan knocked out LA on the latest bygone episode of SmackDown with the brass knuckles. Plus, the two have also been booked to participate in an MITB triple threat qualifier, this Friday night alongside Santos Escobar.

WWE has also ignited a fresh feud between Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and Solo Sikoa, following Rhodes' win over AJ Styles in an "I Quit" match at the Clash at the Castle PLE at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland.

According to the Wrestling Observer, the Cody Rhodes vs. Solo Sikoa showdown is slated for SummerSlam 2024. Many believed this match to be one of the headliners of Money in the Bank in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on July 6th which won't be the case.

Before this, Rhodes and Sikoa wrestled in only one singles match on the Raw before WrestleMania 39 in March 2023, where Rhodes emerged victorious. Rhodes' scheduled match at Money in the Bank is yet to be revealed.

Reports have previously confirmed that CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre has long been confirmed for SummerSlam 2024. The bout will announced depending on when Punk will be medically cleared for action from his triceps injury by the doctors.
