Yuki Bhambri in 2nd rd, to meet top seed Aqeel in ITF Futures

New Delhi, July 31 (UNI) Promising youngster Yuki Bhambri outplayed Eui-Yeol Yang of Korea 6-2, 6-1 in the first round while two seeded Indians crashed out in Men's ITF F7 Futures here today.

The 15-year-old local wild card now meets top seed Pakistani Aqeel Khan in the second round tomorrow. Khan had beaten Srirambalaji Narayanaswamy of India 6-2, 6-0 on Monday.

Korean Min-Hyoek Cho upset seventh seed Vivek Shokeen 6-3, 6-4 while sixth seed Navdeep Singh retired hurt after trailing 1-5 to Tzu Yang Lin of Chinese Taipei.

However, other Indians in the fray, third seed Vijay Kannan and fifth seed Aditya Madkekar, sailed into the second round after compatriots Tushar Liberhan and Kiran Nandkumar conceded their matches.

In other matches, fourth seed Chinese Peng Sun and eighth seed Tatsuma Ito of Japan defeated Purav Raja 6-2, 6-4 and Vignesh Peranamallur Chandrasekhar 6-2, 6-1 respectively.
