US Open: Paes- Bhupathi to clash in doubles finals

New York, Sep 10: India can be assured of at least one win in the US Open as Indian compatriots, Mahesh Bhupathi and Leander Paes will clash against each other in the mixed doubles finals.

Third seeded team, Mahesh Bhupathi and Mark Knowles entered into the finals on Wednesday, Sep 9 with a 6-4 6-2 semifinal win over fifth seeds Max Mirnyi of Belarus and Israel's Andy Ram.

In another semi finals Leander Paes and Czech Lukas Dlouhy, seeded fourth, took on the top seeds Mike and Bob Bryan 6-3 3-6 7-6 (8-6).

Now the two Indian tennis greats will battle it out with their partners on their sides in the finals scheduled to happen on Friday, Sep 11.
