Tennis tourney logo released

Kochi, Apr 4 (UNI) The logo of Federal Bank Women's International Tennis Tournament, to be conducted by Kerala Tennis Association in and the All India Tennis Association (AITA), was released by Cochin Mayor Mercy Williams at a function here.

AITA Treasurer T D Francis said the logo was designed by Renshee T K and Muhammed Lukeman Jani, students of Federal Institute of Science and Technology (FISAT).

He said international players like Isha Lakhani, Sanna Bhambri, Sonali Phatke, Shika Oberoi and Ankitha Bambari were expected to participate in the 10,000 dollar prize money tournament from April 28 to May 3.

32 players will vie for honours in singles and 16 teams in doubles events on hard courts at the FISAT Stadium at Angamaly in Ernakulam District.
