Somdev defeats Reynolds to enter quaterfinals

Lexington, Jul 24 (UNI) Indian qualifier Somdev Devvarman pipped second seed Bobby Reynolds to enter the singles quarterfinal of the 50,000 dollar ATP Challenger tournament here.

The 566th ranked Indian defeated the 92nd ranked American 6-7 (4), 7-5, 6-4 in a hardfought encounter.

Devvarman will now face Andrea Stoppini of Italy, who thrased wild card Bryan Koniecko of America 6-1, 7-6(1) in the second round.
