Sania goes down in Ordina Open

New Delhi, Jun 18 (UNI) An off-colour Sania Mirza suffered a straight sets defeat to Michaella Krajicek to crash out of the Ordina Open in 's-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands.

Sania, who is struggling with her form after returning from a wrist operation on her serving hand, went down 2-6, 2-6 to her Dutch opponent in the second round clash.

She dropped her service in the 3rd and 5th games in the first set as Krajicek opened up a 5-1 lead before wrapping up the set in 30 minutes.

The Hyderabad girl continued her poor show in the second set, as Krajicek broke her service twice to emerge victorious.

Meanwhile, Rohan Bopanna lost 6-2, 6-4 to Guillermo Canas of Argentina in the second round of the men's singles.
