Pak tennis team to arrive tomorrow
Chandigarh, Mar 22 (UNI) A 20-member Pakistan tennis team will arrive here tomorrow to take partin 'Friendship Series' on March 25 at the Chandigarh Lawn Tennis Association (CLTA) Stadium.
CLTA chairman Rajan Kashyap said the visitors were expected to cross over to India via Wagha Border tomorrow at 1030 hrs and would arrive here in the evening.
Pakistan tennis players would play Friendship Tennis Tournament and coaching camp to be held in Chandigarh from March 23 to April 15th.
''The senior players will participate in the Friendship Cup, five junior players from Pakistan will attend a 15-day advance coaching camp at the CLTA. The juniors will also compete in the AITA Telent Series being conducted by the CLTA from April 9,'' he said.
The Pakistan team consists of Muhammad Younis, Muhammad naeem Ullah, Shafaaf Ahmad Chaudhary, Sohail Iqbal Khan, Rana Muhammad Ibad Khan, Khalid Jussain, Imtiaz Hussain Malik, Syed Mohammad Abid Qadri, Rai Zabid Zafar, Kashif Durrani, Pervaiz Ahmed Bajwa, Rana Zulfikar Ali and Asif Suhail Aqa Jan.
Junior players:Iftikhar Ahmed Rao, Tanveer Ashiq, Muhammad Shafique, Khurram Nazir, Muhammad Umar Babar and Saizar Khurram.
