Nadal's win at Wimbledon indicative of change of guard in world tennis: Becker

London, July 9 : Rafael Nadal's Wimbledon triumph this year is indicative of a change of guard in world tennis, claimed former Wimbledon champion Boris Becker.

"By winning, Nadal became the first person since Bjorn Bo rgin 1980 to win Wimbledon and the French Open in the same year, and whoever wins those titles back-to-back is the best in the world. The rankings may still have Federer as No.1, but it's only a matter of time before Nadal takes over," The Mirror quoted Becker, as saying.

"It's going to be a very long road back for Roger. Wimbledon is the tournament he cherishes more than anything and this defeat will hurt him," he added.
