MSLTA Inter-district Junior Tennis in Pune from February 16

Pune, Feb 14 (UNI) The Maharashtra State Lawn Tennis Association (MSLTA) District Zonal Tennis Tournament between Mumbai and Pune zones for boys and girls Under-10, 12 and 14 age groups will be played at the Deccan Gymkhana Tennis courts from February 16.

Based on the performance in the three-day tournament, 10 players will be selected for scholarships of Rs 5,000 each. Two free camps will be organised by the MSLTA during the year and the selected players will be provided with tennis kits, informed Mr Anand Tulpule, Jt Secretary, MSLTA.

All the players will play round robin matches in each age group.

Following is the list of players representing the Pune Zone at the championships.

Boys Under 10: Indra Patwardhan, Rohan Bhave, Adish Rao.

Girls Under 10: Raiyka Karachiwalla, Amruta Zagde, Kanishka Chawla.

Boys Under 12: Ashwin Wagh, Rohan Panchal, Manish Dudhani.

Girls Under 12: Aishwarya Ingle, Masoom Kakkar, Shruti Bhandurge.

Boys Under 14: Raveesh Salelkar, Sagar Shah, Yash Mokashi.

Girls under 14: Vaishnavi More, Sharvari Sawant, Nikita Prabhune.
