Double cause for celebration for Murray brothers

SAN JOSE, California, Feb 19 (Reuters) Scotland's Andy and Jamie Murray had double cause for celebration when they became the first brothers to win singles and doubles at the same ATP Tour event since 1989.

The 19-year-old Andy beat Ivo Karlovic of Croatia 6-7 6-4 7-6 yesterday to win the singles title for the second successive year.

And Jamie, who turned 21 earlier in the week, joined forces with American Eric Butorac to beat Rainer Scheuettler of Germany and South African Chris Haggard 7-5 7-6 to win the doubles.

The last brothers to achieve the feat were Emilio and Javier Sanchez, in Kitzbuhel, Austria.
