CWG Tennis: Somdev breezes into quarterfinals

New Delhi, Oct 6: Thrashing unseeded Sri Lankan Amresh Jayawickrame 6-0 6-1, top seed Indian player Somdev Devvarman booked a spot for himself in the quarterfinals of the men's tennis Commonwealth Games tournament.

After the struggle in the previous match, the Indian ace seemed to be in his element on Wednesday, Oct 6 has he beat the unseeded player with ease.

While the first set was wrapped up in 20 minutes, Somdev clinched the thumping victory in a total of just 41 minutes.
