Brit footie stars want masseuses to tone them for World Cup

London, May 29 (ANI): English soccer stars are demanding masseuses to get them honed and toned for the soon-to-begin World Cup.

Players undergoing pre-tournament training are putting up at the five-star Schloss Pichlarn in the resort of Irdning, Austria and aren't game for a masseur.

"The players have been enjoying the extras at the spa. But some of them were not so keen to have a bloke oiling them down," the Daily Star quoted an insider, as saying.

The source added: "As soon as a fella appeared with massage oils they had second thoughts and asked if they could book a female instead.

"It was a bit awkward but staff made sure they accommodated their wishes."

However, spa staff is having a tough time dealing with the footies' demands.he informer said: "The spa staff couldn't cope with demand and were soon forced to call in reinforcements.

"It's not unusual for men to prefer to have a massage from a woman, it does happen a lot.

"Ironically, it's usually the opposite for women, who are less comfortable having a massage by the opposite sex."

The Football Association has kept mum on the issue. (ANI)
