Bhupathi to partner Sania Mirza at French Open, Wimbledon

Nagpur, Feb 4 (UNI) Multiple grand slam winner Mahesh Bhupathi has said he will partner tennis sensation Sania Mirza at the forthcoming French Open and Wimbledon.

Speaking to mediapersons here yesterday, Bhupathi said he would partner for the mixed doubles events in the two tournaments.

Bhupathi, who was here for a tennis clinic for youngsters, praised Sania and said she was a bright prospect for India.

''She will fly the Indian flag in future,'' he said of Sania, who bagged the gold for mixed doubles for the country while partnering Leander Paes at the Asian Games in Doha recently.

In reply to a question, Bhupathi said he had no problems playing with his former doubles partner Leander Paes at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. However, there was no possibility that they would play together on the ATP tour, he said.
