Bhupathi-Stepanek enter semis in Dubai Duty Free tournament

Doha, Mar 1 (UNI) Mahesh Bhupathi and his partner Radek Stepanek of Czech Republic stormed into the doubles semi-finals of the Dubai Duty Free tennis tournament here today.

The Indo-Czech pair accounted for Czech Republic's Tomas Berdych and Petr Pala 6-3, 6-4 in the round of eight match in the 1.5 million dollar ATP event.

Berdych and Pala had earlier beaten fourth seeded Indo-Czech pair of Leander Paes and Martin Damm 6-3, 6-4 in the first round.

Bhupathi and Stepanek will now meet the winner of the match between Belgian pair of Olmer Rochus-Kristof Vliegen and second seeded Australia-Zimbabwe duo of Paul Hanley and Kevin Ullyett in the last four round.
