Bhupathi-Knowles enter Madrid Masters final

Madrid, Oct 19 (UNI) India's Mahesh Bhupathi and his Bahamian partner Mark Knowles overpowered Swede Jonas Bjorkman and Zimbabwean Kevin Ullyett 6-2, 6-4 to enter the finals of Madrid Masters here.

Converting four of the 10 breakpoints, the four seeded pair of Bhupathi and Knowles took just an hour and 13 minutes to beat the fifth seed, Bjorkman and Ullyett.

The duo will now face seventh seeds Marcin Matkoswki and Mariusz Fyrstenberg, who outlasted the South African pair of Jeff Coetzee and Wesley Moodie 6-7(4), 7-6(5), 12-10 yesterday.
