Ankita beats sister Sanaa to win ITF women's tourney

Aurangabad, Nov 24 (UNI) Fifth seeded Ankita Bhambri proved a little tough for her younger sister Sanaa winning in straight sets to lift the singles title at the first ever Endurance ITF 10,000 dollar women's tennis tournament which concluded at the Cidco N3 citizens Tennis Centre here today.

In the final, Ankita ranked 522 in the world outplayed younger sister sixth seeded Sanaa ranked 556, 6-3, 7-6 (7-3) to win her second ITF title and win 10 WTA points while Sanaa got 7 points for her effort.

The ITF tournament was organized and sponsored by the Endurance group for the first time in Aurangabad.
