Murray inspires hope of his first grand slam
Melbourne, Jan 24: Andy Murray dismissed Austrian Juergen Melzer 6-3 6-1 6-1 to reach the Men's singles quarter-final of Australian Open 2011.
The fifth seed, Murray took one hour and 44 minutes to take another step closer to his first grand slam title.
Murray's emphatic play inspired confidence of him being a real contender to win the title this season. He sealed the match with his 13th ace. In Australian Open 2010, he was beaten in the final by Roger Federer.
The Scot is yet to drop a set in Australian Open 2011. He will now take on Ukraine's Alexander Dolgopolov.
