AITA recommends Bhupathi for Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award

New Delhi, May 14 (UNI) The All India Tennis Association (AITA) has recommended ace doubles player Mahesh Bhupathi for the this year's Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award.

Apart from Bhupathi, upcoming Rohan Bopanna and wheelchair player Bonafice Prabhu's names have been forwarded for the Arjuna Award.

The AITA Executive Committee, presided over by its president Yashwant Sinha, also recomended veteran coach Akhtar Ali for the prestigious Dronacharya Award.
