Abhishek and Amrita new champs in junior Tennis

Kolkata, Oct 17 (UNI) Bengal's Amrita Mukherjee and Abhishek Alla of Andhra Pradesh walked away with double crown's at the end of the 2nd Asian 14&under Tennis Tournament today Second seed Abhishek Alla defeated No 1 Vishal Passi from Mumbai 6-3,6-2.

He then teamed up with Nishchay Rawal and defeated Vishal Passi and Shaikh Abdullah 6-2,6-3.

In the Girls section, top seed Amrita Mukherjee did not have to work hard to take the singles title beating Simran Kaur Sethi 6-3, 6-4. Mukherjee pairing up with C Sai Samitha defeated the team of Rimpledeep Kaur and Bhawia Wadhwan 6-2, 5-7 (10-6).

Results of finals played today : Boys' Singles Abhishek Alla beat Vishal Passi 6-3,6-2.

Boys' Doubles: Abhshek Alla&Nishchay Rawal beat Vishal Passi&Shaikh Abdullah 6-2,6-3.

Girls' Singles: Amrita Mukherjee beat Simran Kaur Sethi 6-0,6-4.

Girls' Doubles: Amrita Mukherjee&C. Sai Samitha beat Rimpledeep Kaur&Bhawika Wadhwan 6-2,5-7.
