Youzhy defeats Ljubicic to clinch Rotterdam title

ROTTERDAM, Netherlands, Feb 25 (Reuters) Russian Mikhail Youzhny brushed aside fifth seed Ivan Ljubicic 6-2 6-4 in a one-sided final at the World Indoor Tournament today.

Youzhny broke Ljubicic's service game twice to clinch the first set in 30 minutes, while a break in the fifth game of second set proved enough to seal his first title since he won in Saint Petersburg in 2004.

Ljubicic was lacklustre after his three sets semi-final win over world number three Nikolay Davydenko on Saturday.

Youzhny's first win against Croat Ljubicic in seven matches will put him back in the top 20 ATP rankings.
