Yousuf has no 'hard feelings' for losing captaincy to younger Malik
Karachi, Apr 25 (UNI) After losing out to his younger peer Shoaib Malik in the captaincy race for the Pakistan cricket team, prolibic middle-order batsman Mohammad Yousuf said he has no 'hard feelings' against the new skipper although he was eager to lead the side.
Yousuf said, ''It was a good decision that will be prove fruitful in the future.'' The record breaking of the last calender year, who amassed over 1700 runs, revealed he was disappointed at not getting the captaincy ''but keeping in mind the future, the Board had taken the correct decision.'' ''I think it was a good decision and I am confident it will produce positive results in the future,'' the prolific batsman was quoted as saying by 'News'.
''I have no problems and I can assure Malik my 100 percent support,'' Yousuf said, adding ''I also hope all the other senior players would support him wholeheartedly.'' He also hoped Malik would continue as the captain for a long period of time.
