Ya Ni wins DLF Indian Open; Meghna clinches amateur title

Gurgaon, Mar 16 (UNI) Chinese Taipei's Tseng Ya Ni clinched the 100,000 dollar DLF Women's Indian Open, beating Thailand's Russamee Gulynamitta in the first playoff hole at the DLF Golf and Country Club here today.

The two finished regulation play tied at one-under 215.

Korea's Lee Bo-Ri, who finished one-under to tally 218, was third.

India's Meghna Bal fired a 6-over 78 for a three-round tally of 4-over 220 to clinch the amateur title. She shared overall fourth spot with compatriot Irina Brar and Thailand's Titiya Plucksataporn.

Meghna also won the Amateur player of year award.
