World Corporate Golf Challenge set to kick-off at Greater Noida

New Delhi, Feb 1 (UNI) The regional round of the TAKE Solutions World Corporate Golf Challenge - India is being held at the Jaypee Greens Golf Resort, here tomorrow.

There are four qualifiers in India , Mumbai (January 19 and March 1), Bangalore (January 26) and Delhi (February 2).

The top two teams from each region will meet in a National Final at Aamby Valley on March 2. The winning four member team from the national final will represent corporate India at La Manga, Spain in July.

Past teams that have represented India at the world final are BPCL, Parle Foods, Standard Chartered Bank, Deutsche Bank (Mumbai), Indian Airlines, Hero Motors, GE, Golden Peakock and McCann Ericson.

Mercedes-Benz had finished a creditable fifth last year and were also voted the most popular team of the tournament.

Apart from defending champions Mercedes-Benz, Franklin Templeton, Citigold, Air India, Hero Motors, Golf Digest, MasterCard, Ersnt and Young, Haier Mobile, FICCI and Airtel are some of the teams who will feature in the tournament.
