Woolmer broke bone in throat vomiting - Sky TV
KINGSTON, Jamaica, Mar 22 (Reuters) Pakistan cricket coach Bob Woolmer broke a bone in his throat while vomiting, Sky Television reported today.
They reported that Woolmer, 58, suffered the injury after falling against a toilet bowl. The report was unsourced.
Woolmer died on Sunday after being discovered unconscious in his hotel bedroom less than 24 hours after Pakistan had suffered a shock World Cup exit at the hands of debutants Ireland.
The report ran shortly before a news conference at the Pakistan team hotel in Kingston was expected to start. It could not be immediately verified by Reuters.
A source close to the matter told Reuters that the team were in a meeting with Jamaican police deputy commissioner Mark Shields. It had lasted over an hour.
