WIN TV FIDE Rated Chess Championship Chess from May 2

Chennai, Apr 30 (UNI) Chennai District Chess Association(CDCA) will organise the 35th WIN TV FIDE Rated prize money Chess Championship for women, for Paruben Manilal Mehta Trophy here from May two to eight.

In the history of women's chess in the state, this was the first FIDE rated championship. This year's edition, has attracted about 90 entries including National 'B' Champion Sai Meera Ravi, defending champion Nabbela Farheen and four times champion M R Samgeetha, according to a from release CDCA here today.

Each District Chess Association can send four entries. All entries should be routed through the respective affiliated units.
