West Indies team arrives in Nagpur
Nagpur, Jan 19 (UNI) The West Indies squad arrived here today for the first one-day international (ODI) match against India at the Vidarbha Cricket Association (VCA) stadium on January 21.
The team, led by Brian Lara, will have a session at the nets later this afternoon.
Team India is already in Nagpur for 'extended practice' and had a session at the nets this morning.
Meanwhile, strict security arrangements have been made at the VCA Stadium for Sunday's game. Transistor sets, handbags, thermos flasks, balloons and bottles have been banned from the stadium during the match, Deputy Commissioner of Police Amitesh Kumar told newsmen.
