Vijender to get Rs 50 lakh, DSP's post: Hooda

Chandigarh, Aug 20 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today announced a cash prize of Rs 50 lakh and DSP's post in Haryana Police for Vijender Singh who entered the semifinals of the middleweight (75 kg) boxing and secured a bronze at the Olympic Games.

Hooda also announced a cash prize of Rs 25 lakh for Sushil Kumar, the winner of bronze medal in the 66 kg freestyle wrestler in the Olympics.

The Chief Minister also announced to give Rs 25 lakh to Saina Nehwal who had reached the quarter finals in the Olympics Badminton competition.
