Viera told to play more if he wants French team place back

London, Aug.4 (ANI): Patrick Vieira has been told to play more if he is to reclaim his place in the French team.

According to The Sun, French team boss Raymond Domenech has axed the 33-year-old from the squad to face the Faroe Islands in next Wednesday's World Cup Group Seven qualifier.

Arsenal are set to have talks with Inter Milan over re-signing the midfielder, 33, who struggled last season with a string of injuries.

Asked if he would like Vieira to return to the Gunners, Domenech would only say: "Pat needs to play a lot to feel good and to get back to his best level.He has to keep playing. I hope he will start playing - at Arsenal or Inter Milan." (ANI)
