Countdown begins for 2010 Delhi Commonwealth Games

New Delhi, 7 Jan, 2008 : Thousands of locals and foreign athletes in the Indian capital New Delhi participated in a run on January 6th to mark the 1000 days countdown to the 2010 Commonwealth Games on Sunday. The run began from Vijay Chowk and concluded at the India Gate.

Athletes from Australia, England and some African countries, and many prominent Indian sport personalities including woman weight lifter Karnam Malleswari, badminton player also participated in the race.
