Uttar Pradesh record consolation victory

Jaipur, April 6 (UNI) Brilliant batting by opener Mohammed Kaif (59, 51b, 4x4, 2x6) and Praveen Kumar (76, 53b, 8x4, 2x6) lad Uttar Pradesh to a ten wicket victory over Vidarbha in the Central Zone Twenty-20 Cricket tie at the SMS Stadium here tonight.

Uttar Pradesh who is already out of the race after losing three various matches had to console with this victory.

Asked to bat first Vidarbha scored 137 for 7 wickets in 20 over. Uttar Pradesh achieved this target without losing any wicket in 17.2 over. Vidarbha after rounding off their encounter, finished at the bottom as they have lost all their three matches.
