US Chief Justice Roberts taken to hospital

WASHINGTON, July 30 (Reuters) US Chief Justice John Roberts, 52, was taken to hospital after falling at his home in Maine, a Supreme Court spokeswoman said today.

Spokeswoman Kathy Arbery said Roberts was taken to hospital as a precaution and that he was conscious after the mid-afternoon fall.
