UP powerlifting championship to be held in Mathura

Lucknow, Jun 25 (UNI) The 27th men and 21st women senior Uttar Pradesh powerlifting championships would be held in Mathura from July 11.

The three day Championships to be organised by Mathura Powerlifting Association would be held under 10 categories for men and 9 for women participants, in which a number of International and national level powerlifters will show their might.

According to the secretary U P Powerlifting Association P K Srivastava, the Senior U P Powerlifting teams would be selected on the performance of the participants.

Later, the selected teams would participate in the forthcoming Senior National Championships.
