UP Govt fix Nov 15 as deadline for Green Park Stadium to be ready

Lucknow, Nov 12 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh government today ordered to ensure 'fitness' of the Green Park stadium in Kanpur till November 15 for the one-day cricket match, scheduled to be played between India and England on November 20.

A high-level meeting was held here today, in which the senior state government officials went through the preparations being made for the match.

Providing details, Sports secretary Rajan Shukla said they have been directed to complete all the construction work within the deadline.

In the meet, Project Managar of UP Nirman Nigam K D Sharma and Regional Sports officer Bulla Ganguly said that work in connection with replacement of chairs, generators, renovation, flooring, power supply, players pavilion have been completed so far.
