UP boys, Haryana girls in quarters

Vijayawada, Jan 18 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh boys and Haryana girls today entered the quarterfinals of the 33rd Reliance Junior National Volleyball Championship here.

In the boys Pool D league-match, UP outwitted Maharashtra 25-08, 25-15, 15-25, 25-12.

In the girls encounter, Haryana outplayed Madhya Pradesh in straight sets 25-12, 25-14, 25-17.

Andhra Pradesh trounced Jharkhand 25-16, 25-15, 25-16 to enter the last eight in the boys section.

In another league-match (boys) in Pool 'B', Rajasthan scored an easy victory over Tripura 25-06,25-09,25-08 and booked a berth in the quarterfinal.

Kerala beat Jammu and Kashmir in an exciting match in boys section of Pool 'B' and entered the quarterfinals.

Kerala won 25-15, 18-25, 25-19, 25-18.
