Unseasonal rains in Saurashtra, pitch unaffected

Rajkot, Feb 10 (UNI) Light unseasonal showers were experienced in Rajkot, Porbandar and several other places in Saurashtra region in Gujarat today, but the weather is expected to remain clear tomorrow and not deprive spectators of the India-Sri Lanka ODI fare.

The weather will be normal with a clear sky tomorrow, the weather office has said.

The Saurashtra Cricket Association sources said the unseasonal showers have not affected the pitch or out-fields where the second ODI between hosts India and visiting Sri Lanka will be played tomorrow.

The first ODI between the two sides was washed out due to rains at Kolkata on February 8.
