U'khand CM Khanduri congratulates Bindra for winning Olympic Gold

Dehra Dun, Aug 11 (UNI) Uttarakhand Chief Minister B C Khanduri congratulated Abhinav Bindra for winning the first individual gold medal for India at the Beijing Olympics in the men's 10m air rifle today.

Chief Minister Khanduri, in his message, said Mr Bindra had made the country proud by becoming the first ever Indian to win a gold medal at the Olympics in an individual event.

He said the sportsman shared a special bond with Uttarakhand as he had done his schooling in this hill state.
