U-19 coaching camp begins at Motera

Ahmedabad, Apr 20 (UNI) Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA) president Narahari Amin today inaugurated an Under-19 advanced coaching camp organised by National Cricket Academy (NCA) at the Sardar Patel Gujarat Stadium at Motera near here.

Twenty-five budding U-19 cricketers from West Zone will undergo the advanced training at the 35-day coaching camp, a GCA release said here today.

The camp will be conducted on a daily basis between April 20 and May 25 and it will include boys selected by the Saurashtra Cricket Association, Baroda Cricket Association, Maharashtra Cricket Association, Mumbai Cricket Association, and Gujarat Cricket Association. The boys will be coached by NCA coaches Dinesh Nanavati, Padmakar Shivalkar, and B Arun Kumar who will be the chief coach.

Former Indian cricket stalwarts G R Vishwanath and Sayyed Kirmani will also visit and coach during the training camp, the release added.
