Two jockeys suspended for careless riding

Bangalore, Mar 11: The Stipendiary Stewards of the Bangalore Turf Club (BTC) today suspended the licence of Jockey M J Gautam Raj Urs for careless riding on March eight at 'red marker post' riding 'Illusive Girl' in the Karwar Plate.

A BTC release here said the suspension would be from March 18 to 22. The stewards also suspended Jockey V Sunil Kumar, who rode 'Leagues Apart' in the same race from March 18 to 31.The stewards said weather the licence be granted to Mr Kumar for the season 2008-09, he would be suspended from May nine to 18 for unsatisfactory riding on his mount.
