TSC gearing up for National Games

Agartala, Jan 25 (UNI) The Tripura Sports Council is gearing up to participate in the 33rd National Games (NG) to be held at Guwahati from February 9, despite ULFA's growing activities in neighbouring Asom.

Official sources said the state would take part in five events for which the names of 27 sports personnel were released by the council.

The state would participate in Athletics, Swimming, Gymnastics, Boxing and weight lifting and coaching camps for these five events, have already started, sources added.
